Excavator assists in bomb disposal
An Hydrema MX 18 Excavator help to disarm an old World War II bomb in Cologne, Germany.
During construction work in Cologne, Germany, construction workers by chance found an unexploded World War II bomb.
Soon after the discovery, a 500-meter safety zone was set up, affecting more than 10.000 people, as the infrastructure and workplaces in the affected area were shut down until experts had disarmed the bomb.
During the disposal, bomb experts used a Hydrema MX 18 Excavator to transport the 500 kilograms old bomb to safety.
