THE ENGINE
The 912G is powered by the Cummins B-4.5L Stage V engine, a technological feat in its own right. With DOC, DPF and SCR catalysts and AdBlue addition, this engine ensures optimal performance and emission control. The 4.5 litre 16-valve common-rail turbodiesel engine with intercooler and electronically variable turbocharger delivers a maximum output of 147 hp (108 kW) at 2000 rpm. In addition, it delivers an impressive maximum torque of 600 Nm at 1500 rpm.
SAFETY
For Hydrema, safety is not just an added feature, it’s a core value. The 912G’s unique design, combined with an assortment of LED lights, optimises the dump truck’s visibility. In the cab, safety and comfort are combined; the spacious, suspended ROPS/FOPS cab offers excellent visibility. Driver comfort is ensured with a choice of mechanical or air suspension seat, as well as a fully adjustable steering wheel and intuitive multi-joystick controls. In addition, the Hydrema 912G’s chassis is designed with a central knuckle, pendulum rod and two double-acting hydraulic stabilisers in the knuckle, ensuring unrivalled stability during both driving and tipping. This unique combination allows a oscillation angle of +/- 12°, while the oscillation can be locked for additional safety.
